Manual therapy - step by step
Manual therapy
Manual therapy is targeted soft tissue work to reduce tension, improve local blood supply and restore smooth gliding between fascia and muscle. Specific grips are used according to tissue sensitivity and your goals to achieve easier movement and sustained symptom relief.
(30–60 min.)
The session takes place at a relaxed pace and combines myofascial release (to relax stuck layers), trigger point work with dosed hold, longitudinal and transverse tissue techniques to reduce sensitive areas, as well as gentle techniques to normalize muscle tone (eg postisometric relaxation and fascial stretches). Through rhythm, breathing and a gradual increase in tolerance, the tissues regain elasticity and coordination, resulting in a more efficient gait, less pulling in vulnerable areas and better control in everyday movements.
Price: 25-50 euros (30-60 min)
Frequently asked questions
Is manual therapy painful?
Techniques are performed in a range that your body feels comfortable with. The goal is to have no pain—if the pressure is excessive, the muscles respond with spasm. Therefore, the load is adjusted so that it is effective but tolerable.
Does it apply to cracked joints?
No. This procedure is without manipulations and mobilizations. We work on soft tissue—muscles and fascia—to reduce tension and improve mobility in a gentle way.
What results should I expect?
Most often — reduction in pain and stiffness, easier movement and better posture. The effect is enhanced when manual therapy is combined with targeted exercises to activate and balance the muscles.
